Allison’s practice focuses on conservation real estate and governance.

Allison has extensive experience representing clients in conservation easement matters as well as traditional real estate transactions. She has also developed expertise in best governance practices for non-profit and governmental entities through her professional work as well as her volunteer work over her 23 year career.

Prior to joining the firm, Allison served as the Director of Legal Services for the San Antonio River Authority. Her responsibilities at San Antonio River Authority included legal compliance in the areas of real estate, governance, environmental regulation, risk management and records retention. Prior to joining the River Authority, Allison was the Vice-President and General Counsel of the Texas Agricultural Land Trust, a statewide private land conservation organization. She has also served as a Senior Attorney at the law firm of Braun & Gresham, and as Executive Director of Green Spaces Alliance.
